Detailed Description

The EZPZ Queen Rearing Mini Kit is built around the EZPZ Queen Cage and provides the core components needed to begin raising queens in an apiary. The kit is designed so that, once the included components are in use, additional JZBZ cell cups can be added to continue production.

All major EZPZ components in this kit are made in the USA from PETG plastic. The included cell cups are genuine JZBZ cups, which are designed for compatibility with EZPZ components and grafting workflows.

• 15 EZPZ Queen Cages

• 15 EZPZ Candy Caps

• 30 JZBZ Cell Cups

• 1 EZPZ Cell Bar

• 1 Brood Breaker Cage

• 1 Syringe

• 1 Blunt Needle

• 1 Marking Pen

• 2 Frame Brackets

• 1 Grafting Tool

• 1 Frame Stand

The frame brackets are intended to be attached to a new deep frame, with the U-shaped openings facing upward and positioned near the top bar. This configuration allows for two cell bars when using cages on the bars, or three bars when cages are not installed. Brackets may be secured using small screws or adhesive and should be installed in advance.

The EZPZ cell bar halves are designed to press together without adhesive.

The included syringe and blunt needle are used to dispense small amounts of honey and water into the troughs located at the bottom of each EZPZ Queen Cage.

This kit is intended for beekeepers learning or practicing grafting, and the modular design allows the system to be expanded over time by adding additional EZPZ components.
