Using the Cager is simple: slide the plunger open, place the cage over the queen and attendants (or just the queen if you prefer), then close the plunger slowly to guide the bees into the chute and cage. Hold the body between your fingers for control, or use two hands with the frame resting nearby.

The plunger is designed with a gentle click at the closed position, ensuring bees don’t sneak back out while you work. Once the queen is caged, quickly insert a prepared Candy Cap into the opening for transport or introduction.

Each unit is 3D printed from PETG plastic for durability, UV resistance, and stability under high temperatures. The surface may show a slight texture from printing, but this tool is designed for reliable function where it matters most—the apiary.
