With this kit, you can raise up to 60 queens at a time using the EZPZ system. The cages protect queens as they emerge, while candy caps convert them into transport or introduction cages. JZBZ cell bars and cups provide a reliable foundation for grafting, ensuring compatibility with EZPZ components.

For beginners, grafting quickly becomes manageable with practice. Choosing a strong starter colony and a high-quality donor queen are key steps to success. Many beekeepers prefer the Cloake Method, which serves as both starter and finisher without sacrificing the colony. The included syringe and needle allow you to add a drop of honey to one cage trough and a drop of water to the other. Practice dispensing water outside the cages first, since it can squirt too quickly compared to honey.

Frame brackets should be attached to a new Langstroth deep frame with the U-shapes facing upward and aligned near the top bar. Use screws or Gorilla Super Glue, and allow glue to cure well before placing the frame in a hive.
