Good and easy product

I bought these in the Spring and have used in all of my hives. They work well and are quite easy to use. Foxhound is a great company to work with. They're ordering process is also easy and very quick on shipping.

Very Easy!

Watched Adam's great and informative video on you tube about these strips. I installed them early this month and they can stay in until early June even through honey flow. Strip box is more than one box separated from super as advised. Bees don't seem bothered by them at all and they were in place just as they were 2 weeks after installation. These strips are a game changer.

Very Hopeful Product

Put these in my hives before my surgery, during a Fall/new queen mite infestation and the following days the mite drop was huge. Saved my hives. Two months later, hives appear fairly strong with no DWV and hope for Springtime. Sometimes you just can’t keep up like you should but these strips will make it much easier to continue beekeeping at my advanced age.

First time using these strips

Had mixed results with these. I put the recommended number in my two-deep colonies. One queen abandoned the lower deep with 4 strips and started laying in the single strip upper deep. All my colonies stopped laying wherever the strips were next to the strips as they hung down between the frames. So there’s lost brood area. They didn’t chew up or remove the strips and glued them to the frames and comb. It was difficult removing them after the application period and upset the colonies with the amount of disruption involved. I think I’ll use these up and go with home-made laid over top of the frames from now on. Not sure the aggravation is worth the results to me. Has kept the mite load down though for sure.
