Detailed Description

The 10-Frame Cypress Medium Super Box (6 5/8") is a versatile Langstroth hive body most commonly used as a honey super in standard 10-frame beekeeping setups. Its medium depth also allows it to function as a brood box in all-medium hive systems, where both brood and honey boxes share the same dimensions.

Constructed from durable, 7/8-inch thick cypress boards, this box offers natural resistance to rot and weathering, making it suitable for long-term outdoor use - even without paint. Cypress has been widely used in beekeeping equipment due to its longevity and stability.

Frames and foundation are required when the box is used for brood or honey storage. An empty box may also be used as surrounding space for certain feeder types, including baggie feeders, Boardman feeders, and some top feeders.

Customers may choose from three configuration options:

• Unassembled, for self-assembly.
• Assembled, built with staples and wood glue for structural integrity.
• Assembled and Painted, which includes assembly, white primer, and a premium-quality, UV-resistant white exterior paint.
