1 Gallon Sugar Syrup Jar

This Plastic one-gallon jar is four times the size of the typical feeder jar used by most beekeepers, allowing beekeepers to make fewer visits to refill syrup jars but still be able to fit in an entrance feeder. 

We have designed this jar specifically for beekeepers to meet the unique needs of the average backyard beekeeper as well as the commercial beekeeper who top feeds. Easy to transport with their common design as they are the same exterior dimensions as a milk container. Allowing it to be easily transported and stored using stackable milk crates. 

It will work as an entrance feeder because of its unique offset design, a top feeder above the migratory or telescoping cover, or as an inside feeder above our circle top inner cover. 

It is similar in design to our 1/2 gallon jar but holds twice as much and is a more durable plastic. 

• UV inhibitor added to the plastic so it doesn't break down
• Black exterior further inhibits mold growth and resists uv breakdown
• Holds 1 gallon of syrup or 128 fluid ounces
• Thick walls so as to prevent the plastic from flexing in the sun
• Wide rim to create a better seal on the plastic or metal lid
• Textured hexagon walls to provide better grip when twisting
• Holds slightly more than 1 gallon, which means fewer trips, time, and fuel.
• Solid in color, allowing further prevention of brittle plastic
• Fits 70g lids (Standard mason jar or 2 piece lid) - Not included

The walls of the jars are thick and durable, ensuring the jar can be used for years, but the total width of the jar does not interfere with sliding the boardman feeder into the entrance. The mouth is wide enough to be filled with syrup easily and fits a typical small-mouth jar like the two-piece lids used on a Mason jar. 

Each jar is molded with a UV protectant to keep the plastic from becoming brittle in the sun and to keep the syrup from fermenting or growing bacteria inside the jar.
