DESCRIPTION

The Hive IQ Pollen Trap

The HiveIQ Pollen Collection System is a beekeeping tool designed to help collect and study pollen from bee hives. It has a handle to operate the pollen collector, reducing disruption to the hive. The system includes a tray that fits onto the varroa boards at the bottom of the hive base for easy accessible collection. It's made with durable materials for longevity and is easy to install and use.

Benefits of an Insulated Hive

Crafted from high-density EPS, it not only ensures stability and safety for your bees but also facilitates easy hive transportation. The standout feature is its superior insulation, mirroring the thermal performance of all HiveIQ products. This insulation mimics the natural conditions bees thrive in, keeping the hive warm in winter and cool in summer.

This optimal environment boosts bee health and productivity, leading to improved survival rates, faster brood rearing, and increased honey production. Compatible with various HiveIQ enhancements, it offers a versatile solution for your beekeeping needs.

Broken after 1 use

Installed day was delivered and collected pollen for 3 days 2 days later. Removed pollen and tried again the next week. No pollen even though strong pollen gathering. Tried to open again today and it turned but no movement of the ramp. Latch fell right out. Tried numerous times to move ramp no go. Took hive apart to look at. Can't see mechanism but bees have chewed the foam to where bees can access the tray and proplised the ramp shut. Unglued ramp and still no movement with latch. Worked great brand new but some effort to protect leading edge from being able to get chewed would be nice.
