Adding to the hive top's durability and protection, the HiveIQ Beehive Top comes with a pressed metal cover, available in premium yellow. This high-quality cover further enhances the hive's defense against the elements and potential damage, providing your bees with a secure and stable environment.

Thie pressed metal cover should be attached to the EPS with silicone adhesive to help the cover create a firm seal and to help the cover make a tight connection with the box below it.
