Detailed Description

The 10 Frame Top Feeder is designed to make feeding bees efficient and convenient, especially when colonies need larger amounts of syrup. With a capacity of just over 2 gallons, it allows beekeepers to provide enough feed without frequent refilling.

The feeder features a transparent top so you can easily monitor syrup levels without opening the hive and disturbing the bees. Bees access the syrup through a small opening on the bottom of the feeder, where they can drink from a limited area instead of the entire reservoir.

Limiting access to the syrup helps prevent bees from falling into the feeder and drowning. A removable cap is placed over the feeding access point to further control exposure and improve safety for the bees.

A rim needs to be placed around the feeder like our 10 frame spacer or a 10 frame medium box. Check out our 8 and 5 Frame Top feeders that will fit 8- frame and 10- frame boxes.
